The MLB has fined umpire Joe West, Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen and pitcher Mark Buehrle an undisclosed amount after the trio got into a dispute over two called balks by West.

Buehrle was called for a balk by West, the first-base umpire, during the second-inning of Chicago's 5-4 victory over the Cleveland Indians. Buehrle disputed the call and Guillen quickly came out to defend his ace pitcher. After an argument with West, Guillen was given the boot.

Trouble continued in the third-inning when Buehrle threw two consecutive balls to first base, the second of which West caled as a balk. The disgruntled Buehrle threw his glove and was promptly ejected by West as well. Several members of the White Sox had to restrain Buehrle.

"He had a couple of nice moves, both of which were balks, so I called them," West said after the game through his publicist.

Guillen went on a profane tirade against West, also stating he was aware that he will be fined for this incident. This is Guillen's 22nd ejection in seven seasons at Chicago's manager.

White Sox game announcer Hawk Harrelson was critical of West's calls, stating that they were an "absolute disgrace" and that West has "really had it in for the White Sox "

Neither Guillen, West or Buehrle will be suspended.
